Celebrating 75 Years!
In October 1944, Dennis Road Baptist Church came into existence! Since then, the church has experienced many changes including additions and remodeling of the existing sanctuary. Many pastors have stood in the pulpit along with many other missionaries and evangelists, all of which have proclaimed the Gospel of Jesus Christ. It is because of this stand on the truth that what is now New Birth Baptist Church continues to see souls saved and people helped in their walk with Christ.

New Birth Baptist Church Participates in Operation Christmas Child
For the past three years, New Birth Baptist Church has played a role in gathering items and preparing shoe box gifts for under served populations of the world through Samaritan's Purse's Operation Christmas Child Program. Members of the church gather items throughout the year and also prepare their own personal shoe boxes that are then presented before the church in a special prayer service before sending to their next destination.
Members are also given the opportunity to travel to the processing center in Boone, North Carolina where all boxes are then inspected and sealed for their final journey to another country. This year, members from Lawsonville Baptist and Sycamore Baptist Churches joined New Birth in Boone where over 40,000 shoe boxes were processed in one day alone.
